Thanks for coming to our Newsletter, “From the Rail!” This is where we will share with you highlights of the last show, candid shots from our last show, & any tid bit of information we think you should know about.

We have two big things to share with you this month. First, you're looking at it. Our new web site! We hope you are enjoying the candid shots from our last 4 shows and all the special features. We hope you take advantage of pre-registering on-line for our next show. So when you show up at the show you just have to drop off your check & pick up your number. That's it! Quick & painless. We would love to have any feedback you would like to share with us or anything we may have forgotten to have on our site. If you have any hot links we should include, please contact us. We want this site to be a link between us and our exhibitors so we can continue to offer the best show series we can. No idea or suggestion will go unheard & discussed.

Our other big news is our new second location! We have expanded to include 4 shows next year at Ride America in Carlsbad . The show will not only have an extended class & divisions list but will eventually include additional rings. (Please always check our class list carefully for date & location, for not only will the class list change per location but also times due to sunrise & sunset.)

Our upcoming Championship show will be our debut at the new facility. We are planning lots of great stuff. Each entry will receive a free gift. Our Division Champions will receive a bigger tri-color than usual & an embroidered pad, “PCHS Champion 2006.” The divisions that will have a Champion & Reserve Champion named are the following:

Low Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper Modified Jr/Amateur Hunter

Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper Walk Trot

Baby Green Hunters Crossrail

Low Children's/Adult Amateur Hunter Short Stirrup

Children's/Adult Amateur Hunter Long Stirrup

Pre-Green Hunter Green Rider

Low Hunters Pony Hunter

Our Medal winners will take home a newly designed medal, silver frame, & a free 8x10 by Katie Neglia Photography. There will also be a “photo opportunity” jump set up for standing shots with your ribbon & prizes. As always, first place will take home their blue ribbon & their $10 giftcard to PetSmart or $10 off their entries.

We will be hosting an Exhibitor Celebration party Saturday night with delicious food & cake. Our normal Ice Cream social will be moved to Sunday.

The North County Humane Society & SPCA will be joining us that weekend. They will be bringing child-safe, friendly dogs that need a new and loving homes. Please tell all your friends to come and watch the show and adopt a new family member! I'm sure the Humane society & SPCA would gladly accept donations of treats, food or money.

I've also invited an importer of Central American art to come set up a booth at our show. Items vary from jewelry to purses to art, all at very affordable prices. All of the items are beautiful and are hand made from villagers in Costa Rica .

We will finally find out who is taking home the brand new jump we have been raffling off all season. Tickets are still available and will be until Saturday 5:00pm . We will draw the name for the Jump and the name of one lucky trainer. For just participating trainers, their names will be put into a raffle FREE for a gift basket that so far has an Ariat purse, shampoo/conditioner/hairspray/styling goo from a salon, riding crop, & a gift certificate from Sazio Ristorante (excellent Italian cuisine) located in Bonsall. I'm adding more each day. We also have a raffle for everyone with 6 items. Tickets are only a $1!

We have also added two new features to our series. We have created schooling cards at each height that will run concurrently with the classes, so at any time if you need to school your entry, you can quick add it at the back gate or the office. It is a schooling round for $10 open to amateur, jr. exhibitor, or trainer. Each card opens when the course is set to that height and closes when the last class at that height runs it's last round.

We have also added a dedicated add/scratch line. No longer do you need to wait in line to add or scratch a class. In this line you go right to the front. It will also be an additional computer to enter or close out exhibitors to speed things up in between add/scatch duties.

That's all for now. I'll be adding more “From the Rail!”
Diane
