These trainers have attended at least 2 shows and their barn is in good standing with PCHS. The grand total of the points earned have been divided by the number of horses they have brought to our shows. The ranking is based on the highest point average. To verify the points, please check each individual show “Show Entries” and you will see what horses have been counted. The grand total of points can be checked by going to “Trainer High Point.” Any questions over the point standing, call Diane 619-447-1889.

Pacific Coast Horse Shows (PCHS) is dedicated to provide fun quality horse shows. We have spent a great amount of time collaborating with the equine community to create a show that will offer multiple levels of horses & riders opportunities to show at a well run event. We are constantly fine tuning our class & division offerings to better fit the needs of the competitors. We constantly strive to improve our shows & the locations. At the end of the season, we like to recognize the hard work of our exhibitors and trainers with a banquet in their honor. We also like present them with lovely awards & prizes that commemorate their achievement.

PCHS gives back to the equine community by offering free Horsemanship Clinics at a number of our shows. The topics range from colic to first aide for the horse & rider to showmanship. We also try to involve local community businesses & corporations with sponsorship & promotion. We have partners up with North County Humane Society & SPCA to help educate the community about these unwanted pets and to hopefully find a few great new homes.

PCHS is underwritten by the Bean Equine Education Foundation. The objective of B.E.E.F. is to integrate the use of horses to assist with social, emotional and physical development for challenged persons with an emphasis on children. The foundation will provide training for similar programs. In addition, the corporation will undertake any such charitable activities involving education, training, and the promotion of the use of horses with challenged individuals. Our shows are the funraising enterprise that allows us to financially contribute to aid children's needs, such as Outreach Africa.

The staff of PCHS is made up of true horse lovers. Dale, Holly, Piper & Cody Bean have been raising and showing Morgan horses all their lives. Their Morgan horse farm is located in Crest. Holly has competed in all division & disciplines at all levels with great success. But her pride & joy is her beautiful black stallion DFM Keep the Faith that she keeps at home and rides & drives. Dale enjoys caring for their large band and trail riding into the reserve that runs through Crest. Piper keeps & rides her black stallion, & son of DFM Keep the Faith, CME Who's Your Daddy on the family farm. Cody started on the back of a horse, but has now moved onto the iron horses. Their partner in PCHS is Diane Adkins, who is also their neighbor in Crest. On her farm, she also raises Morgans with an exception of her childhood Thoroughbred mount, Tuffley (age 32) and Tuffley's daughter, Moondancer. Diane's first love was jumping & competing with Tuffley in Virginia . So Diane has taken her first love and combined it with the years of experience showing on the Morgan “A” circuit and her behind the scenes involvement of putting on “A” rated shows. When she isn't chasing her 2 year old son, Matthew, she puts her energy into helping create a quality show at an affordable price with her best friend, Holly. Together, Holly & Diane have combined their love of the horse and their knowledge of horse shows, that they are able to create a circuit that is exhibitor friendly, well thought out & planned, & combines all the good stuff from years of showing into a two day format.

We hope that you enjoy our shows!
